Biography

Sophia Elizabeth Manyet is an American actor/writer. She was born on October 15, 1999, in the small town of Fort Thomas, Kentucky. In her early years, she had a passion for swimming and horseback riding. Later on, she found a love for performance through dance. Sophia is trained in hip hop, ballet, and jazz. This love for performance grew into a passion for plays and musicals through her school and local theater companies. Sophia starred in Little Shop of Horrors as Audrey, Noises Off as Belinda/Flavia, and in The Odyssey as Odysseus. She began her film career in local films and television. The hard work paid off when she received a full-tuition scholarship to her dream school, Savannah College of Art and Design. This scholarship was based on her audition alone. Sophia has starred in SCAD's Men on Boats as Bradley as well as countless student films. She recently booked SCAD's newest sitcom Split Ends and was also cast in SCAD's Mr. Burns as Maria. Sophia continues to work and better her craft. She also is working on finishing her first novel.
